Retrospective Studies
Retrospective studies are a type of research that analyze existing data or past records to find associations, trends or patterns between factors and outcomes.
Instead of following participants forward in time, these studies look back at medical records, observational data, or previous trials to answer research questions. Retrospective studies are often quicker and less expensive than prospective studies and they can be a powerful tool for identifying correlations, generating early insights and helping brands decide whether further studies are worth pursuing.
