Study design
This study was a single-group consumer perception study that lasted for 28 days.
After agreeing to participate and if successfully meeting the eligibility requirements, participants completed a baseline survey to evaluate their skin health. Participants then began using the Iota Body Serum+ product daily for 28 days. Participants were instructed to apply the serum all over the body onto clean skin, with particular attention given to skin that needs extra hydration. Participants were allowed to use another moisturizer if desired. Outcome measurement surveys were completed on day 7, day 14, and day 28 of product use.
The participants
Forty participants were recruited, male or female aged 18-55 in good general health and living a healthy lifestyle. Anyone who is pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, or anyone with skin conditions requiring medication for treatment were excluded from the trial.
Of the 40 enrolled participants, one participant withdrew from the study. Therefore data from 39 participants were analyzed.
Abstract
Healthy skin starts with clinically-tested results
The product tested in this consumer perception study has unique skin health benefits, and the product's composition was selected to optimize for radiance, firmness, hydration, and smoothness.
Aims & Objectives: The primary endpoint for this study was to examine the product's efficacy. This was accomplished by analyzing participants' perceptions of their skin outcomes using statistical and qualitative methods.
Study design: A single-group consumer perception study that lasted 28 days.
Methods:
A total of 40 participants were recruited for this consumer study based on satisfying the following inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:

An individual who meets any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study:

Anyone who is pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Anyone with skin conditions that require the use of medication for treatment.

Results: Subjects self-scored their skin health across a variety of relevant parameters on a 6-point textual Likert scale at baseline and after 7, 14, and 28 days of using the test product. This data reports that daily usage of Iota Body Serum+ significantly improves participants' perception of their skin health, including the improvement of fine lines, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, tired appearance, dryness, redness, age spots, and skin texture.
The ability of the test product to improve a range of skin characteristics such as radiance, firmness, hydration, and smoothness, was evaluated on days 7, 14, and 28 of product use. Participants responded to each question on a 5-point ‘Strongly agree-to-Strongly disagree’ Likert scale. The ‘strongly agree’ and ‘agree’ responses were combined into a single ‘combined agree’ outcome in order to evaluate the overall agreement that the test product improved each skin-related parameter. Overall, the test product received overwhelmingly positive responses from participants.
On completion of the study, participants were evaluated on how well they regarded the Iota Body Serum+ after 28 days of use. The product was exceptionally well received by participants, with 92% of users stating they would both like to continue using the product and that they would recommend it to a friend.
Results
This study provides evidence of the effectiveness of Iota's proprietary product for significantly improving the perception of overall skin health
After 28 days, Iota Body Serum+ statistically significantly improved the perception of fine lines, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, tired appearance, dryness, redness, age spots, and skin texture.

Conclusion
Iota Body Serum+ was overwhelmingly well-received among users. 28 days of product use resulted in the significant improvement of an array of perceived skin benefits, both in the improvement of blemishes and enhancement of desirable skin characteristics. As a testament to the product, 92% of users stated that they would like to continue using the product and would recommend it to a friend. No adverse events or safety concerns were reported in this trial.
