What is the High Not Recovery Shot?

High Not Recovery Shot is a product designed to help individuals manage and reduce the effects of THC after consuming THC-containing products like cannabis. This plant-based solution aims to provide quick and effective relief with a single dose, positioning itself as a recovery aid for balancing cannabis experiences. High Not’s small bottle design makes it easy to keep handy whenever you need to ease your high and regain control.

How was the High Not Recovery Shot tested?

A total of 30 participants aged 21 and above were initially recruited, with 24 participants successfully completing the study. Inclusion criteria included individuals who regularly smoked pre-rolls or joints with a THC level of 24% or less, residing in California, and agreeing to specific study protocols. Exclusion criteria involved pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with certain chronic conditions, and those with substance abuse histories.

This virtual study required participants to complete questionnaires at home, focusing on the subjective decrease in THC effects and participant satisfaction with the product. Participants were instructed to consume a THC product and then take the High Not Recovery Shot one hour later, completing the study questionnaire after three hours. This process was repeated twice over a two-week period.

Benefits of Perception Studies for High Not and Other Brands

Consumer perception studies are a fantastic option for a wide variety of consumer brands, including skincare and supplement brands. This research method is a less intensive option than a traditional clinical trial, but still provides brands with data about the performance of their product. These studies use scientifically validated questionnaires to collect data from real people testing out a product. These studies enable brands such as High Not to comply with regulatory authorities while generating marketable product claims.

Study results for the Recovery Shot

High Not

Data collection utilized a 5-point Likert scale to assess participant responses, ranging from "Strongly Agree" to "Strongly Disagree" and "Very Satisfied" to "Very Dissatisfied." Results were presented as the percentage of participants reporting positive answers, including overall combined positive percentages.

-After the first and second use, respectively, 87.5% and 79.2% of participants reported that the test product eased/reduced their THC high.

-On both occasions, 83.3% of participants reported that the test product began to work within 1 hour of consumption, while 58.3% reported that their high was removed after only 15 minutes.

-100% of participants reported that the product is easy to use, while 79.2% agreed that they would recommend the product to a friend (after the second use).

-After both uses, 75% of participants reported that they were satisfied with the test product. Overall, the test product was very well-received by participants and reported as effective at reducing the high associated with THC.
