Founded in 2001, the company focuses on pet products to be practical, functional, and superior in form and function. As a true cross-category, broadly accessible brand (available at Walmart, Target, etc.) Pet Life offers a wide variety of products which are superior (in style and substance) to the current offering that one needs for use on and around their dogs.

Research study for three pet health products

My Pet Life approached Citruslabs to conduct a consumer perception study to test the effectiveness of SmartPrints dog pad, Spray on Shampoo and Conditioner, and the dual action Stain and Odor Eliminator over a two-week period of time. Thirty participants were recruited to participate in the study, and 29 completed the trial.

In the course of the study, three products have been tested:

Smart Prints dog pads are designed to keep floors and textiles dry and clean.

Spray on Shampoo & conditioner promises to leave behind moisturized skin, shiny hair, and a light Vanilla Ginger scent for dogs. Dual Action Stain and Odor Eliminator promises dual action and goes to work targeting and lifting away stains on hard or soft surfaces.

As a result of testing all three products, the majority of participants would recommend the Spray Shampoo and Conditioner as well as the SmartPrints Pads, and the Stain and Odor Eliminator. Participants in this study also expressed interest in knowing where to buy the product and denoted that each product produced desirable outcomes.

Benefits of Clinical Research

Consumer perception studies with pets analyze how people interpret and react to products for their animals, in this case dogs. Through surveys and experiments, researchers explore the influence of animal-related imagery on consumer attitudes and purchasing choices.
