Clinical Trial Feature: NakedPoppy Skincare



Today, we’ll continue to showcase clinical trials that we have had the opportunity to conduct for consumer brands with a feature on NakedPoppy, an eco-conscious skincare brand. The Brand

NakedPoppy is a vegan and cruelty-free skincare brand that prioritizes high-quality products that wear well and look just as good on the skin as traditional formulas.


We teamed up with them to test out their Awaken eye cream, a clean skincare product designed to improve undereye skin health. Their eye cream aims to reduce the appearance of dark circles and create a smoother texture around the eyes with use over time.


The Study

We helped NakedPoppy run a 4-week single-arm consumer perception study that involved 35 female participants with normal skin who had concerns about undereye pigmentation and fine lines. Everyone involved in the study applied the Awaken eye cream under the eyes once a day and self-evaluated their experience. Participants were asked about their overall satisfaction with the product’s hydrating, depuffing, smoothing, and brightening effects.


The Results

After their consumer perception study, NakedPoppy received positive results from participants' feedback. The vast majority of study participants noticed improvements in the undereye area such as increased brightness, decreased puffiness, and a more hydrated appearance overall.


Their results indicate the safety and tolerability of the Awaken undereye cream, as well as its long-term benefits to the appearance of the skin.
