A Tale of Tuna Tuesdays and Feline Friendship

As the COO of Citruslabs, I am constantly absorbed in the world of health and wellness. I get very excited about new products, especially in the longevity arena. Not just for humans but for our beloved pets as well. Today, I want to share a very personal story about why I’m excited to embark on a pet health journey now. The story is about my cat, Cinnamon, and how this remarkable little creature has profoundly impacted my life.

The Unexpected Beginning

Cinnamon's story starts in a rather heartbreaking way. He was found as a tiny kitten, discarded in the trash, an unimaginable start for any living creature. Luckily, fate had other plans. A friend of mine found him and gave him a home. Named for his bright orange coat, Cinnamon quickly became a source of joy and liveliness.

A New Home

Life, however, is full of unexpected turns. When my friend had to move and couldn't take Cinnamon along, I knew I had to step in. Having already formed a bond with him, I couldn't bear the thought of Cinnamon going through another turmoil. So, I welcomed him into my home, not realizing then how much he would change my life.

Life with Cinnamon

Cinnamon brought light into my life in ways I couldn't have imagined. He's a character – meticulously clean, yet incredibly picky about everything, from his food to his toys and even his litter. Our "Tuna Tuesdays" have become a ritual, one of the many small joys of living with him. His preferences might seem trivial, but they've taught me a lot about patience and understanding.

Health and Hydration

Owning a cat like Cinnamon has also made me aware of the health challenges pets face. Cats are prone to kidney problems as they age, and ensuring they drink enough water is crucial. Seeing the creative ways that have been developed to encourage hydration in cats – from fun fountains to interactive games – is both exciting and reassuring. It's exactly this kind of innovation that drives our work at Citruslabs.

Introducing: Pet Health 

As we continue to make strides in pet health at Citruslabs, I'm motivated to ensure that our efforts in pet health are deeply rooted in real-life benefits for pets and their owners. We’re committed to rigorous testing and research in pet health, which improves not only the lives of pets but also the experiences of pet owners. 

At this point in time, I believe that the significance of testing and validating pet health products is still highly underrated, and I hope that Citruslabs will change this in the coming years. After all, our new pet health division is about much more than just confirming effectiveness; it is about enhancing the quality of life for pets like Cinnamon and pet friends like me.
