What are the Luminous Cleansing Elixir and the Nutrient Face Serum

The Retrouvé Luminous Cleansing Elixir is a skincare product designed to address the dual challenges of effective cleansing and skin nourishment. This balm-based formula, enriched with avocado and humectants, has been formulated to cleanse the skin while preserving its moisture balance which enables the dissolution of makeup, sunscreen, impurities, excess oil, and debris, all while rinsing away residue and lingering dirt particles.

The Luminous Cleansing Elixir is formulated for daily use and can be either rinsed off or gently removed with a tissue, leaving the skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated. Key ingredients in the Retrouvé Luminous Cleansing Elixir include Glycerin, Avocado Oil, and Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate.

How were Retrouvé's products tested?

Retrouvé partnered with Citruslabs to conduct a consumer perception study to evaluate the effects of two of their flagship products: Retrouvé Luminous Cleansing Elixir and Retrouvé Nutrient Face Serum. The primary goal was to assess the perceived impact of these products on overall skin health, with secondary objectives including changes in hydration, radiance, tone, evenness, clarity, texture, resilience, fine lines, and wrinkles.

The study involved 32 participants who used the Retrouvé Luminous Cleansing Elixir and Retrouvé Nutrient Face Serum twice daily (morning and night) for a duration of four weeks. Participants were instructed to apply the products according to the provided regimen and maintain their regular skincare routine. The study employed subjective assessments through participant feedback alongside objective measurements to evaluate various skin parameters.

The products demonstrated significant effectiveness in improving participants' perception of various skin concerns and parameters, including hydration, youthful appearance, and overall skin health.

- Statistical Significance: Every parameter subjected to statistical analysis exhibited a significant improvement from baseline to week 4, indicating the efficacy of the tested products.

- Hydration and Moisturization: The most substantial enhancements were observed in hydration, with participants reporting increased moisturization and skin plumpness. Notably, 100% of participants agreed that the products did not dry out their skin and effectively increased moisturization.

- Youthful Appearance: Participants reported significant improvements in their skin's youthful appearance, indicating a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and an overall enhancement in skin texture and resilience.

- Participant Feedback: Over 96% of participants noted that their skin felt refreshed, softer, hydrated, healthier, and of enhanced quality after using the products. Moreover, over 90% expressed their desire to continue using the products, purchase them, and recommend them to friends.
